Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed on Friday termed Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh‍‍`s remarks over Bangladesh as instigating.

"With grave concern, I am informing you that Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in a meeting with army commanders of his country, asked the army to be prepared for establishing peace through war. It is their own matter, matter of their country‍‍`s security," he said.

Rizvi added: "But our matter of concern is that he (Rajnath Singh) said Russia, Ukraine, Hamas and Bangladesh situations are being monitored. But there is no war in Bangladesh. Here an autocratic government was overthrown by the greatest mass movement of the century. It is our own matter".

He made the statement while talking to journalists after handing over donation to the family of martyred rickshaw puller Sagar, killed in the mass uprising against Awami fascism. "Amra BNP Paribar" organized the programme in the capital‍‍`s Rampura area.

Convener of the host organization journalist Atikur Rahman Rumon, Swechchhasebak Dal leader Zahidul Kabir, Jubo Dal leader Mehbub Masum Shanto, Dr Abdul Awal and Arifur Rahman Tushar were present, among others.

The BNP leader said demons were suppressing the people and sucking the people‍‍`s blood and they have laundered Taka thousands of crore from people‍‍`s pockets.

The student-people waged movement against the demon government and spilled their blood in the movement, he said.

In the face of the movement, the chief of the demon government autocrat Sheikh Hasina fled the country, Rizvi said, adding that now the Bangladesh situation remained normal.

"Bangladesh is an independent and sovereign country. Uttering the name of Bangladesh by Rajnath Singh along with Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Hamas is provocative," he said.

The BNP leader urged the student-people of Bangladesh to remain alert about this.

Noting that plots are still being hatched in Bangladesh, the BNP spokesperson said those who have been defeated still have huge amount of black money in their hands, made in the last 16 years.

Now they are hatching conspiracies using the black money, he said, adding that they are making efforts to use the garments workers in various ways.

They are hatching deep-rooted conspiracy to make the entire country unstable, Rizvi said urging the people to remain alert to this end.

He urged the student-people-worker to resist the evil forces who are instigating the workers in Ashulia.

In the last 16 years, around 100 power plants were set up and Taka thousands of crore were transected with India‍‍`s Adani Group by making draft agreement or inking conditions, because there were illegal transactions among them, he said.

There were underhand dealings of huge amount of money, he said, adding that they (AL govt) made agreement without seeing any conditions.
